A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING VARIOUS
BUILDING SERVICES AND FIRE REVIEW AND INSPECTION
SERVICES USER FEES; REPEALING ALL PRIOR RESOLUTIONS IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont pursuant to its authority as a municipal corporation
under the laws of the State of Florida, has the authority to establish and collect fees for planning
and zoning, building services, fire review and inspection services, parks and recreation use,
police, city clerk and utility billing; and
WHEREAS, the adoption of fees as set forth herein, is consistent with Clermont City
Code Section 86.112, is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Clermont and the cost
effective, efficient, and appropriate operation of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1.
The City Council does hereby adopt the following amended fees:
Building Services
• Change of Sub-Contractor $52.00
• Re-inspections $105.00
• Addressing Fee $7.50 per address
Fire Review and Inspection Services
• Change of Primary Contractor $85.00
• Resubmittal of Construction Plans $85.00
• Fire Review Alterations/Renovations One half of the square foot rate
Commercial $150.00 minimum
• Change Use/Occupancy Permit $125.00
SECTION 2.
Any resolution or ordinance previously adopted by the City Council and in conflict herewith is
hereby repealed to the extent of the conflict.

SECTION 3.
A copy of this Resolution and the Comprehensive Fee Schedule shall be kept on file in the City
Clerk's office and made available to the public upon request.
SECTION 4.
This Resolution shall take effect July 1, 2018.
