WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont has found
and determined that the existing condition of Lake Shore
Drive from Fifth (Penzance) to Anderson Streets constitutes
a hazard to the traveling public as well as a health menace
to the residents of that area and has therefore authorized and ordez~ed
that Lake chore Drive be rebuilt from Fifth (Penzance) to
Anderson streets; and
~"TLREAS, it is estimated that the cost of materials for the
rebuildin of Lake Shore Drive will be approximately Eighteen
Thousand ~~18,~~00.00) dollars; and
`vTHEREAS, funds for the rebuilding of Lake Shore Drive were not
included in the current budget; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Clermont that
the City Clerk and/or Finance Officer be authorized to borrow
from the Equipment Replacement Fund of the City of Clermont an
amount not to exceed Eighteen Thousand (;18,000.00) dollars at
an annual interest rate of three and one half percent C3/~/0) and
to replay any funds so borrowed within twelve months from the
date of the loan, plus interest.
