RESOLUTION NO.2018-25R
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION FOR THE SMALL CITIES
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT TO THE FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY FOR FEDERAL
FISCAL YEAR 2017.
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont desires to submit an application to the Florida
Department of Economic Opportunity for a Small Cities Community Development Block Grant
to benefit persons of low and moderate income.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Clermont
as follows:
SECTION 1.
The City of Clermont hereby authorizes the filing of an application for a Neighborhood
Revitalization Community Development Block Grant, and
SECTION 2.
The Mayor of the City of Clermont is hereby authorized to execute all documents required in
connection with the filing of said application to be submitted on August 13,2018.
