RESOLUTIONS
NO. 462
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A GRANT OFFER
FROM THE UNITED STATES ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY
AS DESCRIBED IN THE CONSTRUCTION GRANT APPLICATION DATED
JULY, 15, 1983.
WHEREAS, the Waste Treatment Plant for the City of Clermont is
reaching design capacity, and
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont desires to expand the capacity of
its wastewater treatment system, and
WHEREAS, a grant offer from the United States Environmental
Protection Agency has been received to pay fifty-five percent of
the eligible project costs to expand the wastewater treatment system.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida, that the City of Clermont accepts the
grant offer from the United States Environmental Protection Agency
for fifty-five percent of all approved costs, in accordance with the
Construction Grant Application dated July 15, 1983; and that the
Mayor of the City of Clermont is hereby authorized to execute the
Grant Agreement awarded on December 29, 1983 for Project Number
C120503-03-0; and he is hereby authorized to execute all documents
required to apply for assistance under the Construction Grant Pro-
gram for Wastewater Treatment Works.
DONE AND RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
