R-66-069 RESOLUTIONS t~0. 69 • N°_ 111 WHEREAS, upon the advice of the City Manager of the City of Clermont, Florida, and the Building Inspector of said City, it is deemed difficult and unpractical to cope with certain requirements of the present ordinance, Section 5-2 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Clermont, in regard to certain requirements of buildings, and WHEREAS, upon the advice of the City Manager and the Building Inspector of the City of Clermont, Florida, it has been deemed necessary and proper to amend said Ordinance to facilitate and expedite the con- struction and remodeling of buildings within the City of Clermont, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Attorney be and he is hereby instructed to amend Section 5-2 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Clermont as follows: Section 5-2. Construction Zones Established For the purpose of regulating the construction of buildings within the City of Clermont, there is hereby established the first and second construction zones. The first construction zone shall embrace all lands within the corporate limits of the City, which according to the zone map and zoning ordinances of the City, as adopted by Chapter 26 of this code and zoned C-1, C-2, T-C and M-1. The second construction zone shall embrace all lands within the corporate limits of the City, not included in the first construction zone, including lands zoned as R-1, R- lA and R- 2 . All construction within the limits of the first construction zone shall be equal to, or better than, type 5 (ordinary) as set forth and provided for in the Southern Standard Building Code, 1965 edition, and all construction in the second construction zone shall be equal to, or better than, wood construction as set forth and provided for in the Southern Standard Building Code, 1965 edition.
