NO. 71
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont desires to
expedite the issuing of building permits, including Plumbing,
Electrical and Gas installation permits, and
WHEREAS, the issuing of Building permits, including Plumbing,
Electrical and Gas installation permits, is based on compliance
with the Building and Zoning codes of the City of Clermont, and
WHEREAS, it is the duty of the Director of Building to determine
whether or not the proposed work is in compliance with the Building
and Zoning codes of the City of Clermont before a permit is issued,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective as of this date the
Director of Building of the City of Clermont be, and is hereby,
authorized to issue by his signature only and without the signatures of
the members of the Building Committee and/or Public Works and Planning
Committee all permits for Plumbing, Electrical and Gas installations,
and for the repairs and additions to and the construction of such
buildings as where the total value of the work to be done and the
materials used does not exceed three thousand ($3,000.00) dollars.

held on April 5, 1966.
