WHEREAS, the City Ebuncil of the City of Clermont has determined that it
will be to the best interest of the financial operation of the Citv of
Clermont Water Department, and more equitable to its water customers, to
make certain changes in the various rates and fees now in effect, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that thirty days from the adoption of this resolution
the following specified rates, fees and regulations become effective:

NEW CONSTRUCTION:
Service connections for new construction will include only a valve and a
stand pipe on which the contractor may place a hose bibb. The meter will
not be installed until after the Director of Buildings has issued a certificate
of occupancy and will be locked pending the required meter deposit by the
tenant where applicable.
A water use fee of five dollars ($5.00) will be charged the contractor or
owner for water used during construction.
The water use fee of $5.00 and the cost of the desired service connection
(meter installation) must be paid before a building permit will be issued.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Clermont at a regular meeting
held on May 10, 1966.
