A RESOLUTON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE USE OF
CERTAIN CITY PROPERTY FOR THE CONDUCTING OF BINGO
GAMES AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 849.0931, Florida Statutes, authorizes under specified conditions
bingo games; and
WHEREAS, Section 849.0931(1 l)(d), Florida Statutes, provides that bingo games can
only be conducted on City-owned property with an express grant of authority by adopted
resolution of the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida, that:
SECTION 1.
The City Council authorizes the use of the facilities stated in Section 2 below for the conduct of
bingo games, provided that the games, sponsors and participants act in accordance with Section
849.0931, Florida Statutes and all other applicable laws and regulations. Further the games,
sponsors and participants shall be subject to and comply with all established rules, regulations
and polices for the use of City facilities.
SECTION 2.
City facilities authorized for the conduct of bingo:

466 W. Minneola Avenue
Clermont, FL 34711
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
