WHEREAS, the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, has
caused to be constructed a municipal auditorium and community center
to be known as Clermont Jenkins Civic Auditorium, and
WHEREAS, certain individuals have been extraordinarily
benevolent in the dongtion of their time, services, property and
encouragement in the promotion, construction and furnishing of said
building, and
WHEREAS, certain persons have been generous in publicizing,
planning and promoting the proper dedication of said building,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
Mr. George W. Jenkins be, and the same is hereby made and
pronounced to bean Honorary Citizen of the municipality of Clermont,
Lake County, Florida, and shall be entitled to all the privileges,
benefits and advantages appurtenant there to.
ADOPTED by the Council at a regular meeting held on November
22, 1966.
