WHEREAS, the City of Clermont is the owner of certain
property located on the shore of Lake Minneola in Clermont, Florida,
known as the "City Barn", and
WHEREAS, there is presently no legal access to this property
an d
WIIEREAS, it is practical and possible to acquire access
across the property of Clermont Builders Supply, Inc. a Florida Corpora-
tion, and
WIIEREAS, the City street known as 11th Street which is used
regularly by city vehicles in engress and egress to and from the "City
Barn" is in bad maintenance and repair, and
WHEREAS the paving and other improvement of said street from
Minneola Avenue to the City Barn would facilitate traffic in this area.
THEREFORE be it resolved that
Pending the acquisition of acceptable access as determined by
the City Attorney across Clermont Builders Supply property that
1. Said 11th Street from Minneola Avenue, north to the
"City Barn" be paved and otherwise improved at the
discretion of the City Manager and that there be no
assessment made against adjoining property for such
improvements.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this City Council of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida, endorse and approve such Resolution
as set forth hereinabove.
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Clermont,
Lake County, Florida, held on January 24, 1967.
