WHEREAS, the City Charter of the City of Clermont, Florida
provides that the City Council shall adopt such rules of order as
they may deem necessary and advisable and
WIiEREAS it was determined by motion duly passed, that the
Revised Edition of Roberts Rules of Order ire adopted as the governing
parliamentary procedure and
WIiEREAS it was likewise decided that some person sizould be
appointed to administer these rules
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that
1. The Revised Edition of Roberts Pules of Order be and
the same is hereby adopted as the governing procedure rules to be
followed by the City Council of Clermont, Florida, and
f3E IT FURTIiER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and he is
hereby designated Parliamentarian for the purpose of administering
these rules.
DE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this City Council of the City
of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, endorse and approve such Resolution
as set forth hereinabove.
