RESOLUTIONS

WHEREAS, the County Commissioners of Lake County, Florida,
have requested that each municipality within Lake County, among
other organizations, make known their preference of priorities of
road improvements, and
WHEREAS, Clermont, Florida is the closest community in
Lake County, to the coming Disneyland attraction and that traffic
will be materially increased throughout this area, and
WHEREAS, at a duly called meeting of the City Council of
the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, said City Council did
discuss and decide which roads should have priority for construction
and/or repairs;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City
of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, that the priorities of needed road
repairs and construction in Lake County, Florida, be as follows:
1. That Florida Highway 561 be reconstructed from its
intersection with State Road 33 to U. S. Highway 27. (This highway
has not been materially improved since its sfru ion and is in
deplorable condition).
2. That State Highway 50 be four-laved rom the East Lake
County line to Mascotte, Florida.
