RESOLUTION FOR STREET INIPROVI~A'IE,'.QT A`7D SPECIAL ASSESSf1iNTS

6aHEREAS, in the opinion of the City Council of the City of Clermont
a necessity exists requiring the clearing, grading, filling, raising,
paving, curbing the streets hereinafter described in said city; and
6dIiEREAS, in the opinion of said Council the real property abutting
and adjacent to said hereinafter described streets will be especially
benefitted thereby, and the owners of said abutting and adjacent property
will be fully compensated for the improvement costs i>y the enhancement
of the value of their respective owned real property affected .~y said
improvement; and, the cost of said improvement will be, in the opinion
of the City Council, equitable and just in proportion to said increased
value; therefore
I3E IT RESOLVED icy the Council of said City that the following
described streets in said City be cleared, graded, filled, raised and
paved:
Disston Avenue from I~Iinnehaha Avenue to Almond Street (approximately
80~ feet)

3L IT FURTHER RESOLVED Liy said Council of said City that it is
the opinion of said Council that the cost of clearing, grading, filling,
raising and paving said streets will be equitable and just to the respective
Z~roperty otirners of the real property lying adjacent and abutting said
streets, and is warranted under a necessity :~l.ich exists and the cost of
said improvements on said street(s) shall be paid as .follows: (A) by
the owners of all real grope rt~~ adjoining, contiguous, abutting, adjacent
and bounding on said streets to be cleared, graded, filled, raised and
paved (intersections excluded) under a Special 1lssessment on all said
real property equal to 2/3rds of the total cost; and (L) 1/3rd plus
the cost of intersections, if any, to be j~aid by the City from the general
imY~roven~ent fund. Said Special Assessments shall lie due and r,ayable in
cash to the City of Clermont on or i~efore 3~ days after said S,~ecial
Assessments shall stand approved and confirmed, and thereafter shall
bear interest at 8° per annum ~~ayak:le annually in five ~c]ual payments,
.plus interest, until fully Laid. The total estimated cost of the above-
described improvements for the a~ove described Disston Avenue is $5,560.OC.

owners of the real r~roperty ~~~hiclz a}~utts am--~ adjoins said respective
above described streets sl~iall be according to tl~e front-foot plan and
rule; unless the apY~lication of this plan and rule, in the Council's opinion,
be unjust and unequal, or result in individual cases in assessr.~ents in
excess of specific benefits received from. such. im~~rovements, tY!en the
City Council shall adapt suca~ rule of apportionment, as shall effect a
substantial equality between said oc~rners, considering the benefits
received by and burdens irlposed on said o~,~:ners and their respective propert.,~.
