RESOLUTIONS
No. 401
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF `THE .CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING IMPOUNDMENT FEES FOR
ANIMAL CONTROL.
WHEREAS, Chapter Four of the Municipal Code of Ordinances provides
for the establishment of Impoundment Fees;
WHEREAS, Florida State Law requires all animals impounded to be
vaccinated against rabies before they can be claimed;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, before an impounded animal may be
claimed, the owner shall pay to the City the following fees:
1. Impounding Fees
A. First Impoundment: Five dollars ($5.00) for each
animal and the additional sum of one dollar ($1.00)
for each day the animal is detained.
B. Subsequent Impoundments: Upon subsequent impoundment of
the same animal, the owner may claim the animal upon
payment of a fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for the
first day, and one dollar ($1.00) for each additional day.
2. Additional Fees
The following fees in .addition to Impoundment Fees must be
paid to the City if the animal does not have a current City
animal license and/or current rabies vaccination:
A. License Fee: January 1 to January 31.........$2.50
February 1 to December 31.......$4.00
B. Rabies Vaccination: A fee-of seven dollars ($7.00) must
be paid to the City for a rabies vaccination.
A receipt will be given to the owner for the license and/or
vaccination fees. This will allow the owner to have the animal
vaccinated and to obtain a license with no additional charges.
The above fees shall become effective immediately on adoption.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN UTILITIES AGREEMENT FOR THE ADJUSTMENT, CHANGE OR
RELOCATION OF CERTAIN UTILITIES WITHIN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY LIMITS HEREAFTER DESCRIBED, AND PRO-
VIDING WHEN THIS RESOLUTION SHALL TAKE EFFECT.
RESOLUTION NO. 400
ON MOTION OF Commissioner (Councilman) ~O~S ,seconded by Commissioner (Council-
man) Conley ,the following Resolution was adopted:
WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Transportation has located and proposes to construct or
reconstruct a part of State Road #50
AND WHEREAS, in order for the State of Florida Department of Transportation to further and complete said
project, it is necessary that certain utilities and/or facilities within the Right-of-Way limits of said State Road
#50 , be adjusted, changed or relocated,
AND WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Transportation having requested the City of
CLERMONT ,Florida, to execute and deliver to the State of Florida Department of Transportation
a Utilities Agreement, agreeing to make or cause to be made such adjustments, changes or relocations of said
utilities and/or facilities as set out in said Agreement, and said request having been duly considered,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of CLERMONT
Florida, that the Mayor and Clerk (City Manager) be and they are hereby authorized and directed to make,
execute and deliver to the State of Florida Department of Transportation a Utilities Agreement for the adjust-
ment, change or relocation of certain utilities within the Right of Way limits of said State Road #50

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the State of Florida
Department of Transportation at Tallahassee, Florida.
