A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING BUDGET
AMENDMENTS FOR THE CITY OF CLERMONT FOR FISCAL YEAR
2018-2019
WHEREAS, it is hereby found and determined by the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida, that the following budget amendments are necessary for the
Fiscal Year October 1,2018 to September 30, 2019:
GENERAL FUND
1. Increase Youth Council (10511-54926) $ 3,000
To amend the City Clerk Department budget for the estimated costs
associated with the Youth Council Legislative Action Day.

Increase Defined Contribution Pension(10515-12240) $ 3,718

associated with the Adopt-A-Soldier Program.

To amend the Police Department budget for the purchase of shoulder
microphones for the new radios purchased through the Lake County
contract.
7. Increase Professional Services- General (10522-53100) $ 10,000
To amend the Fire Department budget for promotional costs associated
with the Lieutenant testing process.
8. Increase Repair&Maintenance—Vehicles(10522-54601) $ 15.862
To amend the Fire Department budget for the cost of painting the Reserve
Ladder Truck and replacing headsets in E-101,L-102,and RL-102 trucks.

To amend the Public Works Department budget for the installation of
LED lighting at Hancock Park and a Grant from the Florida Small

To amend the Public Works Department budget for the purchase of three
cemetery headstones, as approved by the City Manager.
2. Decrease Fund Balance (13599-59900) $ 6,419
Total Cemetery Fund adjustments.
RECREATION IMPACT FEE FUND
1. Increase Capital Outlay— Rowing Facility (14549-66301-721 17) $ 167,644
To amend the Public Works Department budget for the construction of a
sea wall, dock and boat launch at the Rowing Boathouse, as approved by
the City Council on January 22, 2019.

To amend the Economic Development Department budget for leasing
the de Hoyos property for parking in the downtown area as approved by
the City Council on January 8, 2019.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the above said budget amendments of
the City of Clermont for the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 are hereby adopted.
