R-67-102• • RESOLUTIONS N ° 15 3 RESOLUTION N0. 108 WHEREAS, on May 23, 1967, the City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, adopted a Resolution for street improvements and Special Assessments for cleaning, grading, filling and paving Scott Street between Juniata and Desoto Streets, Disston Avenue between Broome and Desoto Streets and Cooper Lane between Juniata and Desoto Streets, and WHEREAS, on June 8, 1967 and June 15, 1967, published in the South Lake Press, a weekly newspaper of general circulation published in Clermont, Florida, a Notice of Hearing on Proposed Improvements and Levy of Special Assessments for same, and on June 8, 1967, mailed a copy of said notice to all record owners of the real property abutting the above described streets, and WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution and notice the City Council sitting as an Equalizing Board held a hearing at 8:15 P. M. on June 27, 1967, to hear and consider complaints and WHEREAS, following the Hearing it was the opinion of the City Council that the special Assessments were fair and equitable, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, that all Special Assessments levied and assessed by the Resolution adopted May 23, 1967, against the various lots and parcels of real property abutting Scott Street between Juniata and Desoto Streets, Disston Avenue between Broome and Desoto Streets and Cooper Lane between Juniata and Desoto Streets, Clermont, Florida, be and the same are hereby approved and confirmed, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all Special Assessment liens as originally levied shall be and remain a valid, binding and subsisting lien against each and every lot and parcel of property in the respective amounts until same are fully paid. ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Clermont, LAKE County, Florida, at its regular meeting held on July 11, 1967.
