RESOLUTIONS
No. 396
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ENDORSING THE CONCEPT OF THE DEVEL-
OPMENT OF LOW AND MODERATE INCOME HOUSING AS CONSISTENT
WITH LOCAL PLANS AND REGULATIONS FOR THE PURPOSE OF APPLY-
ING FOR CERTAIN CORPORATE TAX CREDITS UNDER FLORIDA LAW,
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont supports and encourages the efforts of neighbor-
hoods to create a better living environment through self-help projects; and
WHEREAS, Lake Community Development, Inc. has been established to meet human
needs in the Lincoln Park area within the jurisdiction of the City of Clermont; and
WHEREAS, Lake Community Development, Inc. is working to develop housing oppor-
tunities for families of low and moderate income; and
WHEREAS, Lake Community Development, Inc. in their efforts to obtain private
contributions for the housing efforts, have applied for approval of corporate con-
tribution tax credits against Florida Corporate Income Tax pursuant to Section 220.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Clermont that
the City endorses the efforts of Lake Community Development, Inc. to establish
housing opportunities in the City of Clermont and encourages the approval of corp-
orate contribution tax credits against Florida Corporate Income Tax :pursuant to
Section 220.183, Florida Statutes.
