RESOLUTIONS
NO. 392
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, REQUESTING THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION INCLUDE IMPROVEMENTS TO STATE HIGHWAY 50
AND U.S. HIGHWAY 27 IN THEIR FIVE YEAR WORK PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the State Department of Transportation is conducting a
public hearing on their five year work program,
WHEREAS, the purpose of this public hearing is to give consider-
ation to making any changes to projects included in the five year con-
struction plan; and to hear requests for new projects to be added or
existing projects to be deleted from the plan,
NOW TFIEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Clermont that the State Department of Transportation include in its
five year construction plan, the four laning of Highway 50 from Clermont
to Groveland; the immediate installation of traffic signals at the SR561
and SR50 intersection in Clermont; and the rehabilitation of US27 from
SR50 to SR561A.
