avail itself of grant assistance under Section 702 of Public Lace °9-1.17
}providing for assistance for t:ie construction of a Sanitary Sewer_ System,
and
t•~IIIEP.EAS said section 702 of Public Law "9-117 requires a formal
Policy Statement regarding land accuisi.tion,

of Clermont in regular session agrees that it ~fyill
1. "sa}tie every reasona.:~le effort to acr,uire the reruired real
property.~~y negotiated purchase before instituting eminent
domain proceedings against the propert~~,
2. "~?ot require any owner to surrender the r_ig'_:t of possession
until the City of Clermont ~~a~~~s, or causes to l:>e paid,
to the owner {A) the agreed purchase price arrived at by
negotiation, or (E) in any case ~,rhere only the amount of
payment to the owner is in dispute, not less tr,an 75°~
of the appraised fair values as approved ~~y the City of
Clermont and concurrer_1 in l,y j3I'.FA,
3. `lot to require any person laclfully occu_ving property to
surrender possession without at least 90 days ~~~ritten
notice from the City of Clermont of the date on .~~hich
possession will be re<~uired.
