WHEREAS'; it has been deemed by the City Council of the
City of Clermont, Florida that the traffic situation at the inter-
sections of State Highway 50 with the various roads and Highways
within the City of Clermont, Florida are extremely hazardous and
WHEREAS, experience has shown a great number of accidents
have occured at the various intersections when the same may have been
prevented by more careful and planned engineering, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont, Florida
is desirous of protecting the citizenry to the fullest extent from
unnecessary traffic hazards.
THEREFORE be it Resolved that the City Council of the City
of Clermont, Florida present this Resolution to the State Road
Department and its proper officials requesting that a study be made
of the aforesaid intersections and that measures be taken to correct
the existing hazards as soon as possible.
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida, held on October 26, 1967.
