NO. 116
WHEREAS, GULF COAST MOTOR LINE, INC. has filed an application with
the Florida Public Service Commission for extension of its Certificate
of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 268 so as to authorize the
transportation of passengers, their baggage and light express, between
Orlando and Weeki Wachee Springs over State Road 50, serving all inter-
mediate points; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont, Florida, believes
that the granting of such application would greatly benefit the citizens
of Clermont and surrounding areas,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Florida, in regular session duly assembled, that the Florida
Public Service Commission is encouraged and requested to grant the applica-
tion of GULF COAST MOTOR LINE, INC.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be presented at the
hearing to be held before the Florida Public Service Commission on December
7, 1967 (Docket No. 9083-CCB) for the express purpose of encouraging
the Florida Public Service Commission to grant such application.
PASSED at the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Florida, held on the 28th day of November, 1967
