A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING AN AD VALOREM MILEAGE RATE TO
PARTIALLY FINANCE THE GENERAL GOVERNMENT OPERATION OF 'i'HE CI`['Y.
WHEREAS, a portion of the revenue for the City's 1981-82 Fiscal Year Budget
must be raised from the assessment artd le:ry of an ad valorem tax on each dollar of
taxable property in the City of Clermont, Florida;
WHEREAS, it is hereby found and determined 'oy the City Council of the
City of Clermont that the assessed taxable value for 198
prepared by the Property Appraiser of the County of Lake
1981., is Sixty seven million, Eight hundred Seventy five
dollars ($~~7,875,~~U5), and that a tax rates of 'Three point
($3..583) per One thousand dollars ($1,000) valuation, is

to raise the sum of `ltao hundred forty three thousand two hundred five dollars and
ninety seven cents ($243,205.97) required from ad valorem taxes for the general
government operation of this City; an ad valorem taxation of all taxable property
of this City is required to be levied.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, There is hereby levied and shall be collected
on each dollar of taxable property in the City of Clermont, Florida a tax levy of
T}~ree point five eight three (3.583) mills, or an adjusted millage rate that will
raise an amount equal to 1t~o hundred forty three thousand, two hundred five dollars
and ninety seven cents ($243,205.97) for the general government operation of said City.
NOW 'THEREFORE IT IS FARTHER RESOLVED, that the Property Appraiser of the
County of Lake, is hereby directed to extend the Assessment Koll of the City; heretofore
equalized, confirmed and approved, and to deliver same tax to the Tax Collector of the
County of Lake, and the aforesaid Tax Collector is hereby directed to collect said
taxes at the time and in the manner provided for by law.
