R-68-126• RESOLUTIONS NO. 126 N°_ 185 WHEREAS, on February 2$,1968 the City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, adopted a Resolution for street improvements and special assessments for clearing, grading, filling, paving Jones Lane from Pitt Street south a distance of approximately 125 feet, and WHEREAS, on March 7, 1968 and March 14, 1968, published in the South Lake Press, a weekly newspaper of general circulation published in Clermont, Florida, a Notice of Hearing on Proposed Improvements and ,~le~ of Special Assessments for same, and on March 5, 1968, mailed a copy of said notice to all record owners of the real property abutting the above described street, and WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution and notice the City Council sitting as an Equalizing Board held a hearing at 8:00 P. M. on March 26, 1968, to hear and consider complaints, and WHEREAS, following the Hearing it was the opinion of the City Council that the Special Assessments were fair and equitable, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, that all Special Assessments levied and assessed by the Resolution adopted ~~ebruary 28,1968 against the various lots and parcels of real property abutting Jones Lane from Pitt Street south a distance of approximately 125 feet, Clermont, Florida, be and the same are hereby approved and confirmed, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all Special Assessment liens as originally levied shall be and remain a valid, binding and subsisting lien against each and every lot and parcel of property in the respective amounts until same are fully paid.
