RESOLUTIONS
RESOLUTION No. 131

WHEREAS, there has been a request by CLAUDE E. 5MOAK, JR. and
HONEY JEAN SMOAK, his wife, the owners of certain property located in
Block 20 according to the Official Map of the City of Clermont, Florida,
that a certain portion of a certain platted street known as Crystal Lake
Drive, according to the said map of the~City of Clermont, Florida, be
permanently closed, and
WHEREAS, said platted street has never been used nor does the
Council forsee future use of it, and
WHEREAS, it has been deemed by the City Council to be of the
best interest and benefit to the citizenry of the City of Clermont,
Florida, that said portion of said street be closed, a more complete
description of which follows herewith:
WHEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County,
Florida, resolves as follows:
1. That that porti~

being bounded on the East
corner of Block 20 due in
of Crystal Lake and being
the Southern right-of-way
Southeast corner of Block
~n of Crystal Lake Drive being better
of Crystal Lake Drive and Second Street
by a line extending from the Northeast
a Northerly direction to the water's edge
bounded on the South by the extension of
line of Desoto Street from a point on the
20 Westerly to the water's edge.
BE and the same hereby is permanently closed and abandoned by
the City of Clermont, Florida, provided only that the City shall have
easement over said property for drainage, sewer, gas or electrical
facilities.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a true copy of this Resolution be
recorded among the Public Records of Lake County, Florida.
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida, held on May ~, 1968.
