RESOLUTIONS
No. 369
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, REGULATING THE
USAGE OF THE MUNICIPAL BOAT RAMP LOCATED ON LAKE
MINNEOLA.
WHEREAS, the City Boat Ramp on Lake Minneola was built to provide
recreational opportunities for Clermont residents and area citizens;
WHEREAS, Fishing Tournaments have utilized the boat ramp for
recreational and profit-making purposes, and have at times, restricted
the use of the ramp by Clermont citizens.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that all Fishing Tournaments using
the City of Clermont Boat Ramp on Lake Minneola must have City approval
and submit a $100 deposit prior to the tournament. The Fishing Tourna-
ment will be assessed $2.50 per boat for use of the boat ramp. Such
fishing tournament must also use only one-half the ramp, in order to
allow citizens not in the tournament equal access to ramp facilities.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that City residents participating in the
tournament will not be exempted from the $2.50 fee.
