OF SUCH PROPOSED LOCAL SEbJER IMPROVEMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF CLERMONT,~,~LERMOPJT, FLORIDA, as follows:
SECTION 1. This Resolution is adopted pursuant to the provisions of
Chapter 170, Florida Statutes, and other applicable provisions of law.
SECTION 2. It is hereby found and determined as follows:
A. It is necessary for the continued preservation of health and
welfare, convenience and safety of the City and its inhabitants to construct
a new sewer system in the City, including force mains, interceptor lines,
pumping stations, treatment facilities and appurtenant facilities {herein-
aftercalled the "project"), in accordance with certain plans and specifica-
tions to be prepared by Michaels Engineering Company of Orlando, Florida,
Consulting Engineers.
6. The estimated cost of the construction of the project is the sum
of $2,328,000.00. Of such cost, $800,000.00 shall be payable by the levy
and collection of special assessments against the properties abutting ,
adjoining or continguous to the improvements to be constructed. The
remainder of such cost shall be paid with the proceeds of certain revenue
bonds to be issued by the City, with the proceeds of two federal grants
to be made in connection with this project, and with other funds of the
City legally available for this purpose. Such cost, in addition to the
specific items contained in the plans and specifications to he approved
by the Council, may be deemed to include the acquisition of any land or
interest therein, or of any fixtures or equipment or properties necessary
or convenient therefor, engineering and legal expenses, fiscal expenses,
expenses for estimates of costs and revenues, expenses for plans,
specifications and surveys, interest during construction, the establishment

SECTION 5. The area to be assessed shall be officially identified and
designated as "Special Assessment Improvement District fdumher one".

passage.
