RESOLUTION PJO. 143
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Lake County has
requested that each of its municipalities submit their preferences and
recommendations for road construction priorities and
WHEREAS, the Clermont City Council is appreciative of the
opportunity to express its views,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of
Clermont present to the Board of Lake County Commissioners, at its
scheduled meeting to consider road construction requests, the views and
recommendations of the Clermont City Council which are designated herewith
in order of preference:
PRIMARY ROADS
I
Florida State Road #50 to be four laned from the West city
limits of Mascotte, East to the existing four lanes at the Orange County
line.
II
U. S. 27 (S.R. 25) to be four laned from the North boundary
of Polk County North to the existing four lanes in Clermont
III
That State Road #19 be designated as U. S. #23
SECONDARY ROADS
Bronson Road (3-1038)(3-1039).
Construct and pave road, including a new concrete bridge,
from SR-561 to Minnehaha Lake Shore Drive (3-1040). Approximately one (1)
mile.
II
Log House Road. Construct and pave road (a continuation of
SR-465-B or SR-565-B) from SR 561 to Minnehaha Lake Shore Drive (3-1040)
approximately one (1) mile.
III
Cherry Lake Road (3-1837)(3-1838).
Construct and pave road (a continuation of SR-478) from Cherry
Lake to SR-561-A. Approximately two and one half (2 Z) miles).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be filed
with the Board of Lake County Commissioners.
