A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW THE
CONSTRUCTION OF AN ADDITION TO AN EXISTING BUILDING FOR USE AS
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES, LIBRARY, AND A COVERED BREEZEWAY.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Clermont, Lake County,
Florida, at its meeting held on September 4, 1979 recommended approval of a Conditional
Use Permit to allow the construction of an addition to an existing building for use as
administrative offices, library and a covered breezeway, as hereinafter set forth, by a
vote of 5 to 1 with 2 abstaining, and the City Council deems it advisable in the interest
of the general welfare of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida to grant the
Conditional Use Permit;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA THAT:
SECTION 1.
That the application for a Conditional Use Permit to allow the construction of an
addition to an existing building for use as administrative offices, library and a covered
breezeway on property described as Lots 5 and 6, City Block 56, commonly known as 574
Montrose Street, be granted subject to the following conditions:
1. That all applicable rules and regulations are met, except off-street parking
and buffer strips;
2. That the use not be expanded except with a Conditional Use Permit; and,
3. That a Certificate of Occupancy be issued only after all conditions are met.
DONE AND RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, THIS
25th DAY OF September A.D. 1979.
