RESOLUTIONS
RESOLUTION N0. 333
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT.
FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTIONS NUMBERED 197 AND 291 RE-
GARDING PENSION BENEFITS.
WHEREAS, A. B. Broyles and Florence I. Cooper, who are retired Police
Dispatchers, have been authorized to receive pension benefits from the
Clermont Policemen's Pension Plan by Resolutions 197 and 291, respectively,
and
WHEREAS, the City has been advised by the State of Florida that only
sworn officers may be included in said Plan, and
WHEREAS, such benefits should properly be paid from the Clermont General
Employees Pension Plan,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Trust Department of the Sun
First National Bank of Lake County, Trustee of the Clermont Pension Plans,
be authorized and directed to transfer from the Clermont General Employees
Pension Plan to the Clermont Policemens Pension Plan a sum of money equal
to all benefits paid to A. B. Broyles and Florence I. Cooper since
October 1, 1977, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Trustee be authorized and directed to
pay future benefits from the Clermont General Employees Pension Plan to
A. B. Broyles and Florence I. Cooper in the amounts previously authorized.
DONE AND RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, THIS DAY OF A.D. 1979.
