WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont has determined
that it will be to the best interest of the financial operation of
the City of Clermont Water Department, and more equitable to its
water customers, to make certain changes in the various rates and
fees now in effect, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that upon the adoption of this Resolution the
following specified rates, fees and regulations become effective:

Installation includes tapping of main, curb stop, corporation, meter,

One and One Half Inch $ 3.00
Two Inch $ 3.50

Service connections for new construction will include only a
valve and stand pipe on which the contractor may place a hose bibb,
The meter will not be installed until after the Inspector of
Buildings has issued a ''ertificate of Occupancy and the meter
may be locked pending the required deposit by the tenant when
applicable.
A water use fee of Five Doll~irs ($5.00) will be charged the
contractor or owner for water used during construction.
The water use fee of $5.00 and the cost of the desired service
connection (according to the meter size) must be paid before a
building permit is issued.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Clermont at a Regular
Meeting held on September 22, 1970.
