,¡<~ WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City Council,
...... City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, that it is advisable for the
Commissioners of Lake County to approve the enactment, by the Leg-
islature of the State of Florida, of a bill to be entitled:

An act to empower Lake County and its municipalities, individually
or jointly, to control their development through planning, zoning,
subdivision regulation, the reservation of mapped street locations
for future public acquisition and the regulation of building in the
land reserved for mapped streets; providinß for the establishment,
government and maintenance of planning and zoning commissions B.nd
their staffs~ and boards of zoning appeals and their staffs; enabl-
ing the planning and zoning co®nissions and boards of zoning appeals
to establish and collect reasonable fees for permits, inspections
and public hearings in connection ¡,lith their operation; providing
for penalties for violation of the provisions of this act and the
reg-ulationsadopted pursuant thereof; and for certain appeals and
for a~plications to courts for relief, and
l"ìEEREAS, the City Council, City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida,
and the people of Central Florida are vitally interested in the proper
construction on and proper maintenance of lands outside the corporate
limits of the various cities, to~ms and villages, and
NmJ, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida, havinß acted unan1mously in favor
of such legiªlation, earnestly request that you give serious consid-
eration ~f such action.
