R-72-191• RESOLUTIONS RESOLUTION NO. 191 N°_ 274 WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of Florida has proposed a constitutional amendment to be voted upon by the electorate of the State of Florida, on March 14th, 1972, and WHEREAS, said proposed amendment would revise Article V in regard to judicial reform, and WHEREAS, the City Council has studied said proposed constitutional revision and has consulted with various authorities concerning the effect of the same, and WHEREAS, it is the consensus of the City Council of the City of Clermont that said proposed judicial reform would not work to the best interest of the government of the City of Clermont, Florida. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Clermont, Florida, that this City go on record as opposing the adoption of the constitutional revision pertaining to Article V, judicial reform as proposed for the March 14th primary. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be furnished to the Legislative Delegation for Lake County, Secretary of State and any other interested party.
