WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont had determined that it
will be to the interest of the financial operation of the City of Clermont Utilities
Department, and more equitable to its customers, to make certain changes in the
various rates, fees and regulations now in effect, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that upon the adoption of this RESOLUTTON the following
specified rates, fees and regulations become effective.

In addition to the meter fee, the following charge will be made based on the service
requirement:

In the case of a corner lot, the smaller of the two sides shall
apply. In the case of an irregular shaped lot, the average
of the front and rear lot lines shall apply
Installation includes tapping of main, curb stop, corporation, meter, meter box and
the necessary piping and fittings.
Minimum Monthly water bills according to meter size:
Three Quarter Inch $ 2.25
One Inch $ 2.50
One and One Quarter Inch $ 2.75
One and One Half Inch $ 3.00
Two Inch $ 3.50
Three Inch $ 7.00
Four Inch $ 9.00
Six Inch $ 20.00
New Construction
Service connections for new construction will include only a valve and standpipe on
which the contractor may place a hose bibb. Sufficient service connections will be
installed to adequately support the construction. Meters will not be installed until
after the Building Official has issued a Certificate of Occupancy and the meter may
be locked pending the required deposit by the tenant when applicable.
A water use fee will be charged the contractor or owner for water used during construc-
tion as follows:
Single unit building $ 5.00
Multiple unit building $ 5.00 for first unit plus
$1.00 for each additional unit
The water use fee and the water tapping fee must be paid before a building permit
will be issued.
SEWER CONNECTION FEE
The sanitary sewer connection fee will be $4.00 per front foot. In the case of a
corner lot, the smaller of the two sides shall apply. In the case of an irregular
shaped lot, the average of the front and rear lot lines shall apply. The connection
fee shall not apply if the property has been assessed.
The sanitary sewer connection fee must be paid before a building permit will be
issued.
