RESOLUTION N0. 194
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, FLORIDA, EXPRESSING THE
DECISION OF THE GOVERNING BODY TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION A CONSTRUCTION
EASEMENT THROUGH A PORTION OF THE CITY OWNED PARK AROUND CENTER LAKE
WHEREAS~,The Florida Department of Transportation proposes to multi-
lane a portion of State Road 50 through the City of Clermont; and
WHEREAS, the proposed multi-laning is of utmost importance to the
City of Clermont; and
WHEREAS, the construction of said project will require that a construction
easement within the City owned park around Center Lake be granted to the Florida
Department of Transportation, and
WHEREAS, in the judgement of the City Council of the City of Clermont, said
construction within the required easement would not be detrimental to the overall
effectiveness of said park;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
FLORIDA: That, it is the decision of said governing body that a construction easement
will be granted to the Florida Department of Transportation at the appropriate time
with the full knowledge and understand that construction within said easement will
conform to current Florida Department of Transportation standards requiring lands
within said park to be restored to conditions compatible to the surround3~g parklands.
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida, held on June 27, 1972
