R-72-196• RESOLUTIONS RESOLUTION NO. 196 A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION N_° WHEREAS, the Honorable GEORGE E. HOVIS has served the City of Clermont, Florida, as Municipal Judge from January of 1970 until August 8th of 1972, and WHEREAS, the said Honorable GEORGE E. HOVIS has performed his duties to the utmost of his capacity and has brought to the Municipal Court of the City of Clermont the prestige and honor that a Municipal Court should have, and WHEREAS, the said GEORGE E. HOVIS has sacrificed his time, energies, and talents to improve the system of justice for the City of Clermont, Florida, and 282 WHEREAS, the said Honorable GEORGE E. HOVIS has found it necessary because of the press of business to resign his duties as the official Municipal Judge, and WHEREAS, the City of Clermont has regretfully accepted said resignation, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Clermont hereby resolves that it go on record with this resolution of appreciation of the services rendered by the said Honorable GEORGE E. HOVIS as the Municipal Judge of the City of Clermont, Florida. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be furnished to the Honorable GEORGE E. HOVIS with the full appreciation of this City Council of the City of Clermont, Florida.
