RESOLUTION N0. 212
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION N0. 147 OF JULY
22, 1969, BY REDUCING THE RATE OF INTEREST ON SPECIAL SEWER
ASSESSMENTS FROM THE 8% PER ANNUM EXPRESSED THEREIN TO
A RATE OF 6% PER ANNUM.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont by a Resolution
No. 147 duly passed and resolved on the 22nd day of July, A. D. 1969, did adopt the
Sewer Assessment Roll for the levying of Special Sewer Assessment against real
properties within the corporate limits of the City of Clermont; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 147 the City Council of the City of
Clermont did mistakenly and inadvertently fix the rate of interest on said Special
Sewer Assessments at 8% per annum, contrary to the intention of the City Council
to fix said rate of interest at 6% per annum;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT:
The fourth sentence of Section 5 of Resolution No. 147 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Said assessments shall bear interest at the rate of 6 per
centum per annum from the date of acceptance of said im-
provements and shall be payable in ten (10) equal yearly
installments.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, however, that in all other respects said
Section 5 of said Resolution No. 147 remains unaltered and unchanged, and is hereby
reconfirmed as duly passed on the 22nd day of July, A. D. 1969.
DONE AND RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, this the 8th day of May, A. D. 1973.
