RESOLUTION N0. 236
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, CONVEYING UNTO
THE HONORABLE GERALD R. FORD, PRESIDENT OF THE
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, THE CITY'S VOTE OF CON-
FIDENCE AND SUPPORT OF THE BASIC PREI`~SES SET FORTH
IN THE PRESIDENT'S INAUGURAL ADDRESS OF AUGUST 9,
1974.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida,
is comprised of the elected representatives of the people of the City of Clermont; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont believes that all
of the citizens of the City of Clermont join in and support the basic premises set
forth in the Inaugural Address of the President of the United States, GERALD R. FORD.
'I~~~F~F'ORE, BE IT UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED BY THE CIr!'~' COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT:
The City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, does hereby heartily
congratulate the Honorable GERALD R. FORD, as he takes office as the 38th President
of the United States of America; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT:
The City Council of the City of Clermont, as citizens of this Country
ar~d as representatives of the people of Clermont, does hereby convey this, their vote
of confidence to the new President, believing indeed that:
"We must go forward, now, together."
DONE AND UNANINOUSLY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, on this the 27th day of August, A.D. 1974.
