RESOLUTION N0. 254
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, FIXING A TIME CERTAIN AND PLACE AT
WHICH THE OWNERS OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO BE ASSESSED,
OR ANY OTHER PERSONS INTERESTED THEREIN, MAY APPEAR BEFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL AND BE HEARD AS TO THE PROPRIETY AND
ADVISABILITY OF MAKING SPECIAL IMPROVEMENTS, AS TO THE
COST THEREOF, AS TO THE MANNER OF PAYMENT THEREFORE AND AS
TO THE AMOUNT THEREOF TO BE ASSESSED AGAINST EACH SUCH
PROPERTY SO IMPROVED; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK OF THE
CITY OF CLERMONT TO NOTIFY THE AFFECTED PROPERTY OWNERS
OF SUCH TIME AND PLACE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION OF
SAID NOTICE.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont passed on February
25, 1975, Resolution No. 253, determining to make certain local sewer improvements
in special improvement District No. 1 in the City of Clermont and adopting the

assessment plat and plans and specifications submitted by the consulting engineers.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County,
Florida, does hereby establish the 8th day of April, A. D. 1975, at the hour of
7:30 P.M., at the Council Chambers located at 882 Desoto Street, Clermont,
Florida, as the time and place at which the owners of the real property to be
assessed, or any other persons interested therein, may appear before said City
Council and be heard as to the propriety and advisability of making such
improvements, as to the cost thereof, as to the manner of payment therefore, and
as to the amount thereof to be assessed against each property so improved.
SECTION. 2. The City Clerk of the City of Clermont is hereby directed
to notify in writing each such affected property owner by mailing a copy of such
notice at least ten (10) days prior to April 8, 1975;
SECTION 3. Notice of the time and place of such hearing shall
also be given by two publications a week apart in a newspaper of general circulation
in the City of Clermont, provided further that the last publication shall be
at least one (1) week prior to April 8, 1975.
