RESOLUTION N0. 261
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, DESIGNATING MAY
1, 1976 AS "STAND UP FOR AMERICA DAY" IN THE CITY
OF CLERMONT.
WHEREAS, the United States of America is celebrating the year of 1976
as its Bicentennial Anniversary, and
WHEREAS, the Clermont-Minneola Lions Club is sponsoring a patriotism
celebration in conjunction with the Bicentennial celebration on May 1, 1976,
in the City of Clermont, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has been requested to endorse the celebration
on May 1, 1976, as "STAND UP FOR AMERICA DAY"
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Clermont,
Lake County, Florida, does hereby proclaim the day of May 1, 1976, as
STAND UP FOR AMERICA DAY".
DONE and RESOLVED this 28th day of October, 1975.
