RESOLUTION N0. 289
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, COMMEMORATING THE VISIT OF MR. AND
MRS. JEAN PARROT OF CLERMONT, FRANCE, AND WELCOMING MR. AND
MRS. JEAN PARROT TO THE CITY OF CLERMONT, FLORIDA, U. S. A.
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont, Florida, began as a colonization project
of the Clermont Improvement Company in 1884 under the management of Mr. A. F.
Wrotnoski, and
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont, Florida, was so named after the hometown
of Mr. A. F. Wrotnoski, Clermont, France, and
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont, Florida has been honored by the visit
of Mr. and Mrs. Jean Parrot, residents of Clermont, France, on this 29th day
of December, 1976.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Florida, on behalf of the people of the City of Clermont, Florida, does
hereby extend its welcome and hospitality to Mr. and Mrs. Jean Parrot of Clermont,
France.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 21st day of December, 1976
