RESOLUTION N0. 310
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, DESIGNATING AN AUTHORIZED FISCAL OFFICER TO
DEPOSIT AND WITHDRAW CITY FUNDS UNDER CHAPTER 218, FLORIDA
STATUTES.

WHEREAS, the 1977 Florida Legislature enacted Chapter 218, Florida Statutes,
which provides for state assistance in the investment of local government surplus
funds; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont does from time to time invest surplus funds
in interest bearing accounts and securities to realize a return on public money
being held by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the state requires that a fiscal officer be authorized to deposit
and withdraw funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Clermont that the City Manager,or his designee, is the City of Clermont's designated
authorized fiscal officer to deposit and withdraw funds under the provisions of
Chapter 218, Florida Statutes.
