SECTION 3. WATER CONNECTION FEE:
The following additional charge will be made based on the water service
requirement for tapping main, curb stop, corporation, meter, meter box, and
necessary piping and fittings:
Service Size Fee
Two Inch or Less $3.00 per front foot
Over Two Inch $4.50 per front foot
For corner lots, the smaller of the two sides shall apply.
For irregular shaped lots, the average of the front and rear lot lines shall
apply.
SECTION 4. MINIMUM WATER BILLS:
Minimum Monthly water bills according to meter size are:
Three Quarter Inch $ 3.00
One Inch $ 3.00
One and One Quarter Inch $ 3.50
One and One Half Inch $ 3.50
Two Inch $ 4.00
Three Inch $ 8.10
Four Inch $14.50
Six Inch $22.50
SECTION 5. WATER CHARGES DURING CONSTRUCTION:
Meters will be installed upon payment of required fees. During construction,
any damage to meter will be responsibility of contractor. Upon application for
Certificate of Occupancy, water will be shut off, and contractor will pay for water
used prior to issuance of Certificate of Occupancy. After issuance of Certificate
of Occupancy, owner or tenant must contract for water service and pay required deposits
before water service will be resumed.

FEES AND REGULATIONS FOR WATER AND SANITARY SEWER
SERVICES.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont has determined that it is in
the best interest of the City to make changes in certain utility rates, fees and
regulations now in effect,
BE IT RESOLVED, that upon the adoption of this RESOLUTION the following specified
rates, fees and regulations become effective:
SECTION 1. WATER SERVICE REQUIREMENTS:

SECTION 6. SANITARY SEWER CONNECTION FEE:
A sanitary sewer connection fee shall be charged for all sewer connections,
except for property which has been previously assessed by resolution, or on property
served by a public sewage collection system installed without cost to City, such as
in new subdivisions.
The connection fee shall be charged on the basis of $6.00 per front foot. For
corner lots, the shorter of the sides shall apply. For irregular lots, the average
of the front and rear lot lines shall apply.
No building permit shall be issued until the sanitary sewer connection fee is
collected.
Nothing herein shall require the City to extend water or sewer lines, or to
accept such lines constructed by others, when the City Council determines it in the
best interest of the City not to extend or accept such lines.
