RESOLUTIONS
RESOLUTION N0. 314
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA; SUPPORTING A REDUCTION OF THE LAKE
COUNTY ROAD AND BRIDGE TAX; REQUESTING THE LAKE COUNTY
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO REDUCE SAID TAX.

WHEREAS, the Lake County Board of County Commissioners levies a Road
and Bridge Tax in accordance with the applicable state law, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont has determined the
tax to be unnecessary and undesirable in terms of benefits to the City of
Clermont.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Clermont hereby supports a reduction of the Lake County Road and Bridge
Tax and requests the Lake County Board of County Commissioners to reduce
said tax to the minimum allowed by state law.
