RESOLUTIONS
RESOLUTION N0. 319
•
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO USE AN EXISTING BUILDING
FOR THE SALE OF USED CARS.
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it advisable in the interest of the general
welfare of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, to grant a Conditional Use
Permit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT:
SECTION 1.
That the application fora Conditional Use Permit to utilize property and
an existing building for the sale of used cars and small repair work located on
Lot 18, City Block 44, commonly known as 1155 Fifth Street, be granted subject
to the following conditions:
1. That the number of cars allowed on the property be no more
than ten (10);
2. That no vehicles be allowed to be parked on the public right-
of-way;
3. That, in respect to the proximity to residential property, that
no repair or shop work be allowed on the premises in excess of
minor repairs as now allowed in residential areas;
4. That the hours of operation be restricted between the hours of
7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.;
5. That the exterior of the building be painted and the canopy
repaired or removed;
6. That the use not be expanded except with a Conditional Use Permit; and
7. That the attached letter of intent for improvements to the property,
as submitted by Mr. Razz H. Bowen under date of December 22, 1978,
be declared a part of this Resolution, and the CUP be effective for
one year contingent upon performance of the provisions wherein the
CUP was granted.
DONE AND RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, THIS 26th DAY OF DECEMBER 1978.
