RESOLUTIONS
No. 523
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA
APPROVING AND APPLYING FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE
FLORIDA MUNICIPAL PENSION TRUST FUND
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County,
Florida, has determined that it is in the best interest of the City
to enter into an agreement for the administration, trust investment
and custodial services of all pension funds;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Clermont, Lake County, Florida that:
SECTION 1.
The City of Clermont, Florida does hereby approve and apply
for participation in the Florida Municipal Pension Trust Fund
(the "Fund") and thereby provide for procedures, policies, methods,
and service providers thereto applicable, providing thereafter for
the administration, trust investment and custodial services of
said Plan and Trust within the procedures, policies, methods and
service providers accorded by the Fund.
The terms and conditions of participation in the Fund are hereby
approved and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute any and
all documents necessary to establish and administer to the Fund
requirements.
SECTION 2.
This resolution shall repeal any and all resolutions or portions
thereof which may be contrary to this resolution.
