RESOLUTIONS
N0. 555
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING OF COUNTY ORDINANCE 1987-3,.
AS PASSED BY •THE LAKE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS AND PROVIDING
FOR A COUNTY/MUNICIPAL ANIMAL CONTROL AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the Lake County Board of County Commissioners have
adopted Ordinance 1987-3 to protect the public health and safety of
the citizens of Lake County, and to protect the welfare and safety
of the animals within Lake County by providing for the maintenance
and use of the County Shelter, and
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont is desirous of continued cooperation
between the County and the City,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Clermont
approves of Ordinance 1987-3, as passed by the Lake County Board of
Commissioners, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of of Clermont shall enter
into the County/Municipal Animal Control Agreement, a copy of which
is attached and made part of this permanent record.
