AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA: PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTMENT BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
A SECOND MUNICIPAL JUDGE TO SERVE IN THE ABSENCE OR DISABILITY OF THE
MUNICIPAL JUDGE; SETTING THE RATE OF COMPENSATION FOR SAID 2ND MUNICIPAL
JUDGE; PROVIDING FOR HIS ELECTION BY COUNCIL:
BE IT ORDAINED AND ESTABLISHED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT:
1. The City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida,
immediately upon the passage of this Ordinance, or as soon thereafter
as is practicable, shall elect a person as second Municipal Judge.
2. Said second Municipal Judge shall serve in the absence or
disability of the Municipal Judge.

Municipal Judge in writing of the necessity of his àervices.
5. Whenever practicable, the Municipal Judge shall notify the
City Manager of his forthcoming absence or disability and the need of
the services of the second Municipal Judge.
THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY UPON BECOMING
A LAW.
