A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, RELATING TO USER AND
APPLICATION FEES CHARGED BY THE CITY; AMENDING THE
PARKS AND RECREATION FEE SCHEDULE AND ESTABLISHING THE
APPLICATION AND INSPECTION FEE FOR VACATION RENTALS
PURSUANT TO CITY CODE SECTION 122-361; REPEALING ALL
PRIOR RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Clennont pursuant to its authority as a municipal corporation
under the laws of the State of Florida, has the authority to establish and collect fees for planning
and zoning, building services, fire review and inspection services, parks and recreation use, police,
city clerk and utility billing; and
WHEREAS, the adoption of fees as set forth herein, is consistent with Clermont City Code
Section 86.112, is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Clermont and the cost effective,
efficient, and appropriate operation of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Clermont,
Lake County, Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1: PARKS AND RECREATION FEES
The City Council does hereby amend Section 4 — Parks and Recreation Fees of the Comprehensive
Fee Schedule, to add new fees as follows:
Park Area Rental Rates
COVID-19 Cleaning Fee
(Clermont City Center)
COVID-19 Cleaning Fee
(Highlander Building)
Art Walk Rental per hour
Art Walk Rental per day
City- Resident/Non-Profit Non -Resident

SECTION 2: VACATION RENTAL PERMIT AND INSPECTION FEES
Initial Permit Application Fee (per location) $300.00
Initial Inspection Fee (per location) $75.00
Annual Permit Renewal Fee and Re -Inspection Fee $150.00
SECTION 3: CONFLICT
Any resolution or ordinance previously adopted by the City Council and in conflict herewith is
hereby repealed to the extent of the conflict.
SECTION 4: PUBLIC ACCESS
A copy of this Resolution and the Comprehensive Fee Schedule shall be kept on file in the City
Clerk's office and made available to the public upon request.
SECTION 5: EFFECTI`T DATE
This Resolution shall take effect November 10, 2020.
