Whereas, Central Florida's mild climate and scenic roadways make motorcycle riding
an enjoyable experience throughout the year; and
Whereas, Florida's growing population makes motorcycle safety an important issue
for all drivers; and
'Whereas, more than a million drivers in Florida have a motorcycle endorsement on
their driver's license; and
'Whereas, motorcycles can easily be hidden in traffic; therefore, it is important for
motorists to search the traffic around them and always expect to see
motorcycles; and
Whereas, to prevent injuries and deaths on Florida's roadways, motorcyclists and
motorists must be vigilant in their efforts to share the road and ensure the
safety of everyone;
Mow, Therefore, I, Gail L. Ash, Mayor of the City of Clermont in the State of Florida, do
hereby proclaim the Month of May, Two -thousand and Twenty as
