Pursuant to our discussions, this letter serves as an Addendum to our existing contract dated December 9,
1996 with respect to scope of service and compensation modifications. This Addendum addresses
Additional Services to recommend an alternative water and wastewater impact fee calculation for each
new customer, We anticipate one additional meeting associated with this Addendum, and the project
deliverable will be a letter report summarizing the analysis and recommendation.
The additional compensation for this Addendum is One Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500). The
time for Addendum completion is two weeks from authorization. This time frame also assumes we
receive the Planning Department's list of actual non-residential customer types located within the City's
service areas in a timely manner as discussed with both yourself and Lanny Harker.
As a recap of the work performed through January 5, 1998 under the original contract for the Impact Fee
Study, the following presents a breakdown ofthe amounts billed and incurred to date.

Thus, as can be seen, HAl has incurred approximately $6,823 over the original contract amount, of which
we propose to write-off $5,083. The remaining $1,740 for Additional Services was related to the original
scope of services and should not be confused with the Addendum discussed previously. Specifically, this
Additional Service under the original contract was due primarily to insufficient data needed to develop
the basis for the institutional classes.
Acceptance of this Addendum may be indicated by the signature of a duly authorized official of the City
of Clermont in the space provided below.
